🎯Raising £140,000 for a statue of Howard Wilkinson

Our Mission

We aim to create a life-size statue of Howard Wilkinson in Leeds — a permanent tribute to the man who delivered Leeds United’s last top-flight title and revolutionised the club from top to bottom.

This is about more than a statue. It’s about legacy, pride, and recognising a true pioneer of the modern game.

Howard Wilkinson didn’t just win trophies — he changed the game.
Now, it’s our turn to give something back.

WILKO92 is a fan-driven campaign to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of Howard Wilkinson — the legendary Leeds United manager — who:

  • revived a club in the doldrums and took it to promotion and an extraordinary league championship
  • built the club’s Academy at Thorp Arch
  • helped shape the future of English football as Technical Director of the FA and Chairman of the League Managers Association

Howard Wilkinson:

  • Reinvented Leeds United
  • Took the team to promotion in 1990 and the League Championship two years later
  • Built a world-class Academy system that developed generations of players

We plan to unveil the statue in a couple of years' time — just steps away from where history was made. Together, we’ll create a lasting monument to a manager who gave us unforgettable memories — and built the foundations of our future.
